Steve Kwane Cobb & Chavunduka

In the spirit of self-determination, Kwame Steve Cobb and Chavunduka formed Cobbala Productions, Inc. as a vehicle through which they could make their contribution towards positive change. Their business includes a recording facility, a record company, music and print publishing, concert promotions, and a healthy schedule of live performances. For more than a decade these two talented artists have honed their musical skills while sharing stages with well known recording artists, Lou Rawls, Ramsey Lewis, Stanley Turrentine, Anita Baker, Roy Ayers, Peabo Bryson and many others.

Kwame and Chavunduka, a dynamic husband and wife team, work closely with youth in workshops and seminars, sharing unique insights into the popular culture, particularly music and its impact on the social, economic and political lives of our communities. Through their Cultural Intervention program, their Nsoroma After school Arts Academy and their non-profit organization, Youth Bridge, Kwame and Chavunduka are positively influencing the lives of young people from preschool age to those matriculating through college.
